_Doing nothing but working for cash, and fixing up the craft I got.

_I saw my terminal today while moving the trash out of my room and put it up on the bed so as to remember. There is almost no time in the day it seems - which is why I am going to sleep now!

_Here I sit, in a bar.
_The day went well, I must say. Yesterday it took all the way until sunset to get to the town, so I bunked in my craft. Then in the morning, my contact woke me with a call on the computer.
_We met in here and talked.
_"So were are you from, then?" said the man. He wasn't tough looking, nor did he seem to be armed.
_"Nowhere special."
_He turned to me and leveled a stern look, "We're doing business, that means I ask you something - and you either answer or leave." A tense moment passed.
_"Dunmore. I'm from Dunmore."
_"Fine, then let's sit," and he gestured towards a back table.
_"But I don't know your name." He stopped. "Why should I trust a man who asks for my planet and not my name?"
_"Maybe that's because they aren't worth much." And he walked to the table. Once we had set down, he said, "A man doesn't lie about where he was born, unless he says where he was raised instead." A hand strayed and swept some dust off the table. "And that makes little difference."
_"Then, to business."
_"Yes. So its a government craft?"
_"Technically stolen."
_His head cocked to one side a bit, "Kinda hot..."
_"That's why I'm getting rid of it.There is a high demand for top-performance parts and craft."
_"Fine."
_Then the man seemed to wake from a daze - "Drink!"
_"No juice for me."
_"Well then I'll just treat myself," and ordered a drink.
_The conversation continued at a reasonable pace, centering around the price for which to trade and what craft would suit me. Having been out of the market for some time, I wasn't sure.
_Time to go, I'm boarding upstairs.

_I've got my contact, but I decided to stay in orbit for the night.
_There is another window about midday tomorrow, so no need to rush.
_My supplies are sufficient enough that I am good for a while, yet so meager as to prohibit me from selling anything or leaving anything behind.
_Like how I left home. Dang the days just before my detachment left were so odd. Nobody in our town fought or grumbled; everyone just dealt with it.
_I'm so close to home now. It almost feels like if I think about it... it won't be there. Or something. I don't know. I just want to see them so much, the memories cloud around me all day and night!

_My craft is in orbit now, and I am awaiting a window.
_Most ships larger than this do not require windows, but jumpships are usually used for pre-planned transportation.
_I have no reason to enter the atmosphere until I find a contact, anyway. It seems that the next window is in two days time.

_The larger portion of my family hasn't ever experienced spaceflight. I mean, my parents have, and my grandparents do usually; but all my aunts and uncles and my siblings and cousins just...
_Well lets just keep it at they do not get offworld much.

_Right now I'm headed towards Pianure, just a ranching moon. Should get into orbit in a day or so. I'll find somebody in a bar and find someone shadier. Making a fair trade for this top-rate government craft for a tiny jumpship shouldn't be an immense amount of trouble.

_The plan worked better than could've been expected. And so right now I am on my way to a nearby ranch moon where I can hopefully find some place to create a further plan of action.

_The base only has a simple chain-link fence around it, out here they don't do much for security. My options are few in how I get by it, though. And even fewer concerning what to do inside... This will require more codes. Codes that I don't have.
_At dusk, when visibility is worst on the main road and the guard is switching, I will position myself as if collapsed on the road. When they come to check me out, I'll nab one of their passcards as I am 'revived.' I'll ask for help; just some water and food...

_I'm not 100% so please excuse the lapses in judgment.
_I carefully trekked towards the base for about an hour, then saw that it would be rather easy to use. So I opened up my hand terminal and turned off the jamming. A few minutes later I hear a ground vehicle start and I look over to see why. The darn thing is full of troops and turns off-road towards me.
_A good day later, after careful evasion; I've just now got enough security to post.
_This little mishap will make things harder, but not impossible. That is; providing I do not make more mistakes.
