_I do not know what to do.
_For the past week this whole planet has been celebrating. Now there is no more alcohol.
_That's right, no alcohol on the entire planet. All the distilleries are running at full capacity but only the semi-wealthy can afford their fill. Some soldiers attempted to moonshine their own brew and... this is just hearsay... died from poisons accompanying the method. The alcohol weakened their immune systems so much that the whole squad died from a relatively weak organic poison.
_My whole family doesn't drink. Not only do we find it useless, but also unhealthy, and foul-tasting.
_Oh, family. My sister should be starting her fifth year of basic education. Those are tough times; I wish that I could help her more. I am going home when I get off this planet. I know that now.
_I probably will not be able to stay long, the force will catch up to me and raise hell. But there is no place in the whole universe I want to be right now.

_I left off saying that I need to get off the planet.
_Sometimes you get your wish and sometimes you don't.
_A few days ago we had not a push, but a victory; we have taken the planet. This isn't good for getting off the planet. No one leaves. The entire force parties like they have not seen alcohol in a millennium, and the officers truly just can't handle it.
_Not enough manpower.
_Especially when the MPs all abandon their posts...

_For me, it just makes sense that as soon as I start something - all hell breaks loose.
_heh...
_Hell.
_Funny thing, me using that particular phrase. I'll have to tell the boys.
_We all started calling the officers demons yesterday.
_They fly by with their rocket-belts, showering the regulars with sparks and soot. They'd get shot down; if the enemy wasn't busy with decoys. And sometimes they get new aerials. The plastic covering melts off the antennae and makes a web all across the array. The fires and explosions back-light them, giving them a f|cking scary look.
_When I see them afterwards, I get the shivers.
_...need to get off this planet.

_"This is not a drill!"
_Isn't that what they say?
_It wasn't when I was in the academy. All the instructors and training drones said when we actually had something to do other than a drill was, "Dying will make it all go away."
_I hope they are very happy right now.
_Because they were wrong.
